Hi everyone,

In 2012 I was tasked to perform a requirements analysis, a comparison of 
data acquisition systems and a design for a ESS DAQ system as part of 
the Swiss In-Kind contribution. The ESS kindly agreed to make the 
generated documents available to the NOBUGS community. May be this 
material, especially the DAQ system comparison, is useful to someone 
else as well. Though the reports take special consideration to the 
demands of ESS as a neutron facility.
