These roles are to work on the EU funded ExPaNDS https://expands.eu/ initiative between 10 European national Photon and Neutron (PaN) Research Infrastructures and the EGI to work on various aspects of delivering standardised, interoperable and integrated data and analysis sources. ExPaNDS and these role will also work closely with PaNOSC https://www.panosc.eu/ representing the 6 Photon and Neutron European Research Infrastructures.

These are excellent opportunities to break into data science/cloud computing/PaN computing etc and will have a high profile in a strategic initiative for all the participating PaN facilities. It's also not a bad time to move to Switzerland, the sun is shining, the lockdown will soon be lifting, the hills are alive with the sound of music.....

Role: Coordinator and Architect for IT and Controls Systems

We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to lead and project manage the SLS2.0 IT and Controls sub project. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your skills and knowledge to ensure the seamless integration of research, controls, IT and software to meet the needs of full experiment lifecycle. With the support of the existing groups, you will help ensure SLS2.0 becomes a world class facility meeting the requirements from brighter sources, faster detectors, bigger data and more demanding processing needs in an increasingly distributed computing environment.
