We are pleased to announce the latest release, version 8.10, of OpenGDA.

The GDA project is an open-source framework for creating customised data
acquisition software for science facilities such as neutron and x-ray
sources. The software is Java/Eclipse-based, free and released under the
GPLv3.

OpenGDA was originally announced here almost exactly a year ago
(http://lists.nobugsconference.org/pipermail/nobugs/2009-December/000016
.html). Since then, considerable development has been done, with
contributions from a number of science facilities.

The latest release (source and documentation) can be downloaded from
http://www.opengda.org/downloads/gda/v8.10/.
