The usage of McStas on a Grid is the same as with MPI (as explained in
the manual):<br>
1- define a .mcstas/hosts file (text) that contains a list of machine
names (one name per line, 'localhost' also works)<br>
2- run McStas (mcgui or mcrun) with --grid=CPUs or --mpi=CPUs<br>

This requires that you have an access on distant machines using e.g.
ssh. To avoid requesting passwords on each machine, you should set-up
the ssh keys (ssh-keygen, or mcgui/Tools/generate DSA key), and copy
the id_dsa.pub on each node (in your .ssh directory). If you use a
common file system, you just need to do that once. Before launching the
simulation, connect to each node so that they are known and stored in
the .ssh/known_hosts file. McStas only needs to be installed on the
master node.<br>
