The Head of Controls & Computing is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Scientific Computing, Electronics and Controls Engineering functions at the Australian Synchrotron. Your primary focus will be to ensure these functions adequately supports the Australian Synchrotron Scientific output by delivering quality, highly specialised and diverse software engineering and computing services and solutions.

An important aspect of this role is to represent the Controls & Computing Group at the Executive Management Meeting (EMT) which reports to the Head of Operations.  This role also incorporates the management responsibility for the corporate IT function, which is directly managed by ANSTO.
